Myanmar Certificate Training Program

The Myanmar Certificate Training Program was held December 14 – 16, 2020.  The Center (ICLRS) was a partner with the Institute for Global Engagement to provide this training program.  The five training sessions were held live and virtually, with Q&A sessions immediately following each presentation.

The training program had 41 participants including clergy, scholars, NGOs, journalists, lawyers, and civil society organization members.  Five faculty members taught the sessions, including Prof. Brett Scharffs who gave two presentations, titled, The Right to Entity Status and Persecution to Participation.  Program organizers reported that the live training went very well.
