A Brazilian journalist and writer, Edison Veiga is the author of eight books, including the biographies “Padre Marcelo: A superação pela fé” (Father Marcelo: Overcoming through faith) and “Santo Antônio: A história do intelectual português que se chamava Fernando, quase morreu na África, pregou por toda a Itália, ganhou fama de casamenteiro e se tornou o santo mais querido do Brasil” (Saint Antony: The story of the Portuguese intellectual who was called Fernando, almost died in Africa, preached throughout Italy, became famous as a matchmaker, and became Brazil’s most beloved saint).
