Clark Lombardi is the Dan Fenno Henderson Professor of Law and adjunct professor of International Studies at the University of Washington. He has also taught at National University of Singapore, Korea University, Columbia University, and New York University. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and member of the Folke Bernadotte Academy’s Group of Experts on Rule of Law. Lombardi’s work focuses on comparative constitutional law, with an emphasis on the role of religion in constitutional systems and on constitutional design. Alongside his research and teaching, he has consulted on constitutional and legal reform in many countries, including, Afghanistan, Burma, Egypt, and Iraq.
