Yen Tran Thi

Yen Tran Thi is principal official of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and permanent secretary of VUS, gateway partners of the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) in Vietnam. She is in charge of following and supporting the IGE’s religious freedom programs in the country. She has 15 years of experience promoting people-to-people relations between Vietnam and the United States. Ms. Yen earned her master of arts and bachelor of arts degrees in international politics and Vietnamese diplomacy from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Her goal is to become a specialist on people-to-people diplomacy to strengthen and enhance the friendly relations between the people of Vietnam and other countries in the world.
