The International Center for Law and Religion Studies of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University was pleased to announce in late 2013 the creation of a new Center Student Management Board, composed of second- and third-year law students. Students selected for the inaugural board were chosen for interest in the worldwide work of the Center and for expertise in such areas as research, writing, editing, languages, and website management. This inaugural group included second-year students Victoria Carlton, James Heilpern, Bryant Hinckley, Lynn Nouri, and Alex Storms, and third-year students Carl Hollan and Eimi Priddis. Languages spoken by members of this group included Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish.
The Center looks forward to the assistance of such capable students in important Center endeavors, including faculty research and writing, worldwide conference organizing and hosting, websites, news and headlines management, and various print publications. Several of the 2014 students are participating materially in work on an upcoming International Encyclopedia of Law and Religion, produced in collaboration with a team at the University of Trier in Germany, to be published online and in print by Brill International Publishing Company of the Netherlands.
