Robert E. Parsons is the Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for Exclusive Resorts, the preeminent luxury travel destination club. He was also the chief financial officer of Host Marriott Corporation for several years. Robert has recently served as a member of the Board of Directors of Watermark Lodging Trust, a multi-billion-dollar real estate investment trust. He also served as chairman of the Hotel Development Council of the Urban Land Institute, Chair of the National BYU Management Society and Chair of the National Advisory Council of the Marriott School of Business at BYU. Robert received his MBA and bachelor’s in accounting from BYU.
MaryAnn has spent most of her life raising eight children and serving in a number of civic and community positions, including the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Management at BYU for the past 25 years, the Board of Directors of Rising Star (an organization helping and educating families with leprosy throughout the world), and the PTA for over 30 years. MaryAnn has participated frequently in community theater and in choral and vocal solo performances for many organizations. She attended BYU. MaryAnn lived most of her life in the Washington, DC area.
