Chairman, State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Ramin Mammadov has a bachelor’s degree in international law and international relations as well as a master’s degree in international relations from Baku State University. He has served in multiple government positions, including working as a specialist at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and deputy head of the staff of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He was later appointed as deputy chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora. In 2020, Mr. Mammadov was nominated as the single candidate of the New Azerbaijan Party for the parliamentary seat from the 64th Sabirabad constituency. He was elected as a member of the party’s board at the Seventh Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party held on 5 March 2021. He is a member of several international organizations, including the European Union-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
