Paul Durham and his wife, Maren, are currently presiding over the California Oakland/San Franciso mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Prior to their call, Paul was the Director and General Counsel at Durham Jones & Pinegar, a law firm he founded in 1991. Paul received his B.A. (1977) and J.D. (1980) from the University of Utah. He was chair of the alumni board at the U Law School at the same time he taught at BYU Law School as an adjunct professor. Paul practices in Real Estate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Maren Durham attended the University of Utah and worked at ZCMI Department Store as the Buyer in the Gift Department. She traveled to New York and Los Angeles frequently and made many trips to Asia, India, and Europe for product development. She stopped working to be a full-time mother of four children. She volunteered for many years teaching art each week in elementary school classes.
