Noodt Consultation on the Strasbourg Conference Project

Held in Geneva, Switzerland on June 22, 2008, the conference was sponsored by the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University and the Gerard Noodt Foundation.

In 2005, a loosely-affiliated consortium of academic institutions with interest in freedom of religion or belief (“FORB”) was assembled with the aim of developing an electronic forum to encourage in-depth discussion of issues pending before the European Court of Human Rights and other international institutions. This year’s gathering was arranged to explore how the objectives of this consortium could best be advanced.
