Munkhtsetseg Gan-Ochir

Munkhtsetseg Gan-Ochir is a human rights lawyer from Mongolia. She has seven years of experience in advocating for vulnerable populations. Her work focuses on the rights of artisanal miners and religious minorities, especially Christians, and she strives to raise public awareness and fight for their rights. Her commitment to social justice is further exemplified by her brief but impactful tenure in the Parliament of Mongolia, where she worked to influence policy changes for the betterment of marginalized communities. Currently, she serves as a board member for a civil rights and development NGO established by Christian lawyers in Mongolia; the organization provides training for religious leaders in human rights and legal knowledge and has conducted surveys and compilations on religious freedom and rights. Additionally, Mrs. Gan-Ochir is a part-time lecturer at Union Bible Theological College.
