Lilian I. Salami, Vice-Chancellor, University of Benin
Lilian Imuetinyan Salami holds a BS in home economics and an MS in nutrition, which she earned in North Dakota; a PhD in human nutrition earned in Nigeria; a postgraduate diploma in education earned in Nigeria, and a postdoctoral degree earned in South Africa. Salami is currently the vice-chancellor of the University of Benin and was the first female professor and first female dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Benin. She is the immediate past director general and chief executive of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in Ondo, Nigeria.
