Kongkea Tep, Chief Phnom Penh of Cult and Religion, Phnom Penh Municipality Office of Cult and Religion
Tep Kongkea, a Khmer national, graduated with his high school diploma in Takeo province in 1998. He subsequently earned a diploma in economic statistics in 2001, followed by a bachelor’s degree in business and tourism management in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2009. Continuing his academic pursuits, Tep obtained a master’s degree in business management in Phnom Penh in 2019. Currently, he is working toward a PhD in public administration in Singapore, which he expects to complete in 2023. Additionally, he holds certificates in political leadership skills, public management skills, English proficiency, economics, and international operational relations. Tep has served as director of the Phnom Penh Department of Cults and Religions since 2003. Previously, he was a lieutenant colonel in the Ministry of Defense from 1998 to 2003. He is the proud father of three daughters and one son.
