Karissa Hilton is a native of Sandy, Utah. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from BYU. Before coming to BYU Law, Karissa and her husband lived in Logan, Utah, where Karissa wrote findings reports on Title IX cases for Utah State University’s Office of Equity. Karissa served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Huancayo, Peru. She has always been interested in working to improve the individual experiences of those around her, and to that end, she is excited for all she will learn in the Dominican Republic. Karissa and her husband have recently indulged their love of all things fantasy by playing Dungeons and Dragons, and they can also be found taking their dog on walks and hikes. Karissa loves all rock music, from punk rock to classic rock.
