John Charles Maddux-John serves as the CEO of Sunstone Two Tree (“Sunstone”), an owner, operator, renovator, developer, and fund manager of multifamily and residential rental housing communities. He has also been the President of Sunstone Partners, LLC. John has participated in over $25 billion in real estate transactions. He also served as a founder and shareholder of the law firm Nevers, Palazzo, Maddux & Packard, PLC. He practiced law with O’Melveny & Myers LLP. John received his J.D. from BYU’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management-finance from BYU’s Marriott School of Management.

Laurie Maddux-Laurie graduated with a B.S. from BYU in Secondary Education. Laurie enjoys playing tennis, being with people, and planting and tending a garden. She loves to remodel homes, and seems to always have a housing renovation project going on. Laurie and John love to travel. They are the parents of three sons, and have four grandchildren.
