Jayme Weingartner Neto

Since 2012, Jayme Weingartner Neto has served as a justice on the Court of Appeals for Rio Grande do Sul (RS). He was the director of the RS Judicature Higher School from 2018 to 2021 and is an instructor for the National School of Magistrates training program. Additionally, he teaches both graduate and postgraduate courses at Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio
Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Dr. Neto holds a doctorate in juridical science from PUCRS and a master of laws from Coimbra. He is also a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Law and Religion Studies and was a state prosecutor from 1991 to 2012.
