The conference was held in Budapest, Hungary on June 13-14, 2008.

David Kirkham, Senior Fellow for Comparative Law and International Policy Regional Advisor for the Center chaired the session on “Security, Stability and Fundamental Rights.” Cole Durham, director of the Center, gave the concluding remarks for the conference.
