David Doxey

David Doxey’s career has been in real estate development and property management. He stays active with family and loves the temple. He has been a temple sealer for 37 years and has had the privilege of officiating in the marriages of most of his children and many of his grandchildren. David and Joanne have lived in Salt Lake, Phoenix, Barcelona, and Madrid. They served together for several years in Spain, first presiding over the Spain Barcelona Mission in its early days and later as the president and matron of the Madrid Temple. They also served in the presidency of the Salt Lake Temple as counselor and assistant to the matron. David graduated in finance from the University of Utah. He was born and raised in Salt Lake City. He married his high school sweetheart, Joanne Bushman, and they have eight children. Joanne passed away in 2020.
