Bernard Malik, President, Research and Policy House
Bernard Malik, who currently serves as director of American College in Queensland, Australia, is an accomplished higher education leader with extensive experience in vocational education and training (VET) management. He established the American College and has transformed it into a progressive vocational college. Some of his many responsibilities are building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication with stakeholders including the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Education, and other external agencies. He is regularly required to represent American College at various state government and industry forums and to host key events such as campus openings, alumni functions, foreign delegation visits, and graduation ceremonies. He is committed to eradicating illiteracy and believes in educational empowerment, which has inspired his involvement in higher education initiatives in India, Africa, Australia, and Papua New Guinea.
