Arlon practiced as an orthodontist until 2009. Subsequently, he and Linda have served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in West Africa. He was involved in local community service on the Town of Gilbert Council, Chamber of Commerce, Chandler Hospital Board. Arlon received a degree in orthodontics in Boston; he had also practiced dentistry for many years. Arlon graduated from the University of Oregon Dental School, and graduated from Arizona State University. He is a native Arizonan raised in Mesa.
Much of Linda’s life and activities have been centered on music. She has enjoyed playing and teaching piano, directing children’s singing groups, teaching summer Music Theater Workshops, directing Stake and Regional Choirs. Linda served on the Gilbert Fine Arts board for 25 years, and during that time also acted in musicals, served as both music director and producer for 10 years of GFAA fall musicals. She attended ASU and graduated in 1970 with a degree in elementary education. Linda is a native of Mesa, Arizona. She is the devoted mother of eight living children.
