Adam Birk was born and raised in Denmark. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a B.A. in Chinese. After his first year at the J. Reuben Clark Law School he spent two months in Hong Kong with the legal counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While there, he attended the law and religion conference in Beijing hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Adam is currently researching the options available to religious organizations for structuring legal entities in the United States and abroad.
