Acting Operations Executive Director of Abrahamic Family House Centre, United Arab Emirates

Abdulla Al Shehhi has overseen the development of the Abrahamic Family House from ideation to operation. Under his leadership, the Abrahamic Family House is envisioned to become the epicenter of peaceful theological dialogue and academic research in the UAE. Mr. Al Shehhi is an advocate of interweaving cultural diversity and social cohesion. Because of his upbringing in a diplomatic household, he strives to have the values of peaceful coexistence echo throughout his work. Mr. Al Shehhi started his career at Abu Dhabi City Municipality, where he led several projects that aided in the creation of spaces in the public realm where the diverse communities of Abu Dhabi could interact and prosper. After a short academic detour to earn a master’s degree in urban planning at Columbia University in New York City, he joined Miral Asset Management LLC, spearheading their new portfolio of cultural projects. Following his successes with Wahat Al Karama and Qasr Al Watan, Mr. Al Shehhi was asked to oversee the Abrahamic Family House.
