Deborah A. Wright

Center Coordinator and Executive Assistant

Deborah Wright has been Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at the International Center for Law and Religion Studies since 2001. She supervises the administrative staff and coordinates the activities of all Center personnel and is at the heart of organization and scheduling of the Center’s many conferences, including logistics, travel, accommodations, on campus and worldwide. Most especially, the continued success of the annual International Law and Religion Symposium wouldn’t be possible without Deborah’s competence and tireless efforts in the year-round efforts of organization, planning, communication, and coordination of events and facilities, of faculty, students, delegates, hosts, and visitors, all of which combine to bring to pass such a complex undertaking.  Deborah is the patient voice on the phone, the unflagging e-mail correspondent, for hundreds of Center friends worldwide.  More …

Madalyn Anderson

Part-Time Secretary

Maddy is a freshman at BYU studying Art History and Curatorial Studies. She is from Farmington, Utah and is the oldest of 6 kids. She played competitive soccer for 15 years and still enjoys playing on co-ed teams at BYU and in city leagues. She loves all things music whether she’s just listening, singing along, or playing the piano and ukulele. She loves being outside and with friends, especially when going to concerts, on ski trips, or out on the lake. Family is very important to her and she loves spending time with her large extended families from both sides at family parties and gatherings. She plans on serving a mission leaving in the Fall of 2025.

Sicily Fischio

Part-Time Secretary

Sicily is a sophomore at BYU studying Anthropology with a sociocultural emphasis. She grew up in Utah county going on countless adventures with her three sisters. It doesn’t matter if it is kayaking, hiking, or a giant art project, she loves spending time with her family. In the last year she has returned from her mission in Nashville Tennessee, jumped right back into her education, and married her best friend. Sicily loves learning and plans to continue her education with a goal to graduate with a masters degree before the age of 30 and a doctorate to follow.

Sandra Jeronimo

Part-Time Secretary

Sandra Jeronimo is a sophomore at BYU studying finance with an emphasis in real estate. She was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the United States two years ago for college. She’s the oldest of three sisters, all studying at BYU, and she enjoys spending time with them. Sandra loves learning about other cultures, baking and creating new recipes, playing the piano, and dancing. She also loves canyoneering and skiing during wintertime.

Kammie Marshall

Part-Time Secretary

Kammie is a senior at BYU, graduating in December 2025. She is studying public health, with an emphasis in health promotion and a minor in Spanish. After graduation, she plans to attend occupational therapy school. Kammie grew up in Arkansas and North Carolina and is the third of six children. She served as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California Bakersfield mission. Kammie enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, traveling, and trying new foods.

Zach Marshall

Part-Time Secretary

Zack Marshall is a freshman at BYU. He is from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and has five siblings. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California San Bernardino Mission. He likes playing pickleball, volleyball, and playing and watching other sports, especially attending BYU games. He also enjoys hiking, swimming, weight lifting, and cooking.

Kelsey Sumsion

Part-Time Secretary

Kelsey is a sophomore at BYU from Springville Utah. She spent her freshman year at Southern Utah University before serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Roseville, California. She is the youngest of nine children and plans to major in Experience Design and Management at the Marriott School of Business. She enjoys playing tennis and pickleball with her family and attending arts performances.
