Richard Marriott runs Host Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel-focused real estate investment trust. It was spun off in 1993 from the larger family-run Marriott International, founded by his father J.W. “Bill” Marriott in 1957. Richard received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts/Science from the University of Utah.
Nancy Marriott is the President of the Nancy Peery Marriott Foundation and is active among several national public-service organizations. She is an accomplished lyric soprano, having performed throughout the United States. Nancy and Richard are the parents of four children.
