The Washington, D.C., portion of the Annual International Law and Religion Symposium was held on October 9, 2008. Those presenting and those attending included officers of the U.S. Department of State, Office of International Religious Freedom, academics in the field of law and religion, and foreign delegates.

Speeches and discussions highlighted the 2008 Symposium theme, “International Protection of Religious Freedom: National Implementation.”
