Ben has spent his career as an executive, advisor, investor, and board member helping growth-stage technology companies. Most notably, he worked as Executive Vice President of Sales and Strategy for the fintech platform Afterpay culminating with its acquisition by Square. Before that, Ben was the Vice President of Sales and Services for Magento, a commerce platform that was acquired by Adobe. Ben holds an MBA from Columbia University, a Masters of Information Systems from the University of Utah, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado.

Laura practiced law in Salt Lake City with the law firm Snell & Wilmer. Before that, she specialized in litigation communications, working for global public relations agencies: Hill & Knowlton, Edelman, & APCO Worldwide. She also worked as an adjunct professor of business law at Utah Valley University. Laura graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School and received her undergraduate degree in communications from BYU. She and Ben are the parents of four children.
