Fredrick & Robyn Axelgard

Recently Fred set up a foundation to support leadership workshops for young Latter-day Saints in Europe. In Washington, DC, he held positions in the US Senate, Georgetown University, State Department, and General Dynamics Headquarters. He helped coordinate Arab-Israeli negotiations for several years. Fred received advanced degrees at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy after he graduated from BYU. As an independent scholar, Fred has written several studies on the Book of Mormon. He and his wife, Robyn, have five children and sixteen grandchildren.

Robyn has served on the Utah Valley Refugees board and now volunteers at Lifting Hands International. Professionally, she taught school in Fairfax County. In the community, Robyn’s efforts on the International School board in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, led to creation of a co-ed high school. Robyn received a degree from BYU with a double major in child development and education.
