Purevsuren Byambakhishig

Purevsuren Byambakhishig works in the science and higher education sector of Mongolia. A philosophy teacher, his academic research has been mainly in the fields of ontology and policy of language and culture, particularly in cultural rights and freedom, cultural identity, human dignity, and social inequality. Professor Byambakhishig is director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the only state-owned institute in Mongolia that conducts basic research in philosophy, sociology, religion study, political science, and law. As a manager, he focuses on policy studies and policy think tanks. He is a member of the Association of Young Scientists of Mongolian Social Sciences, vice president of the Association of Mongolian Philosophers, a member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Subassembly of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and vice chairman of the PhD Defense Committee for Philosophy and Religion Studies in Mongolia.
