Fareed Ahmad

Since 2007, Fareed Ahmad has been serving on the National Executive of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK as the national secretary for external affairs. He has a particular focus on international human rights and freedom of religion issues. He is a regular speaker in parliamentary meetings and hearings in the UK, EU, and UN, and he works closely with a range of parliamentary groups and NGOs on freedom of religion and human rights. In 2023 he was part of a parliamentary FoRB delegation that visited Pakistan to assess the state of FoRB for minorities in Pakistan. He has also served on the editorial board of Review of Religions magazine.
