Oleg Goncharov

Oleg Goncharov is a prominent figure within the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Russia, currently serving as the director of public relations for the Euro-Asia Division. He is also deeply involved in interfaith and religious freedom advocacy. Mr. Goncharov is the general secretary of the Russian Association of Religious Freedom, where he advocates for the protection of religious values and freedoms across Russia. In 2017, he was elected to the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, a state advisory body. As part of his work in the Civic Chamber, he focuses on coordinating interethnic and interreligious relations, aiming to promote civil peace and harmony. His work has included advocating for the preservation of traditional spiritual and moral values, which he links closely to biblical teachings.
