Abiola Olaitan Sanni

Abiola Sanni, SAN, is the dean of law at the University of Lagos and a renowned expert in taxation and fiscal law. He started his academic career at Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991 before transferring to the University of Lagos in 1999. He was a Fulbright Scholar and research fellow at Temple University from 2002 to 2003. In 2016, he was appointed both a professor of commercial law and the Lagos State Professorial Chair for the Advancement of Taxation and Fiscal Matters. He has served on several national tax committees and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is the editor of Introduction to Nigerian Legal Methods, a leading introductory legal text in Nigerian universities and the West African subregion.
