Hauwa Siddeeq Abubakr earned his BA in English from the University of Abuja and pursued law studies at Bayero University, Kano. His interest in Islamic sciences led him to study under renowned scholars such as Sheikh Abubakar Gumi and Ahmed Deedat in Nigeria and South Africa. He furthered his education at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Proficient in Arabic and English, he is a prominent commentator, writer, and columnist for Leadership, a Nigerian daily newspaper. He has been interpreting Khutbah (sermons) at the National Mosque in Abuja for more than 35 years and is recognized for his work in interfaith dialogue and Muslim-Christian relations. He has presented at numerous conferences, including the Muslim World League Conference. He has shared his experiences extensively, including during the International Leadership Program at Brigham Young University. He remains an influential figure in Nigerian media and enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his family.
