Ahmad Jibrin Suleiman

Ahmad Jibrin Suleiman is an associate professor and head of the department of Islamic Law at Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano. He also serves as the deputy dean of the Faculty of Law. Dr. Suleiman specializes in international humanitarian law, human rights, peace, and comparative jurisprudence. He is a member of the Faculty of Law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has been a visiting lecturer at various universities. Additionally, he heads the Department of Islamic Law at Gombe State University. Dr. Suleiman holds an honors LLB in English common law and Islamic law, an LLM in public law with a focus on international law, and a PhD in comparative jurisprudence. He is an activist dedicated to interreligious collaboration, peace, and security, and he has published extensively on these topics. He also serves on the boards of several NGOs and religious organizations, including the Tazkiyyah Educational Resource Centre, the West African Rabies Research Forum, and the Society of International Humanitarian Teachers.
