Jaclyn Neo
Associate Professor, National University of Singapore
Jaclyn Neo is an associate professor of law and the director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies at the National University of Singapore. A scholar of comparative constitutional law as well as law and religion, she has won multiple research awards, including the International Journal of Constitutional Law’s Best Article Prize in 2023. She has published in leading journals and is the editor or coeditor for more than 10 books and special journal issues. She has held several visiting positions, including at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, the University of Münster, Melbourne Law School, the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Professor Neo serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Law and Religion, the Asian Journal of Comparative Law, Suprema (Revista de Estudos Constitucionais), and the ICONnect blog. She is also on multiple advisory boards of overseas academic institutions, including the North-Rhein Westphalia (Germany) Academy of International Affairs, the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law, and the University of Otago’s Centre for Law and Society.
