Nolwazi Penelope Mabindla-Boqwana, Judge, Supreme Court of Appeals
Nolwazi Penelope Mabindla-Boqwana is a Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) in South Africa. She holds BProc and LLB degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and an MDP from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Before she became an SCA judge, she was a judge in the Western Cape Division of the High Court and the Competition Appeal Court. She also acted as a judge in the Labour Courts. She is currently the vice-chairperson of the Rules Board for Courts of Law. Before becoming a judge, she was an attorney and also worked as legal counsel. Along with other judges from South Africa, she attended mediation training conducted at Brigham Young University.
