Rich is a retired partner of Deloitte. He began his career with Deloitte in Salt Lake City and has worked in New York City; Atlanta; Wilton, Connecticut; Dallas; Philadelphia; Chicago, and Midland, Michigan. He worked in the audit practice and focused on serving large, multinational companies. Rich graduated from BYU with a Masters of Accountancy. Since retiring, Rich and Ann have served Church missions in the Europe East Area (based in Moscow), and in Romania, serving Ukrainian refugees.

Ann volunteers with Rising Star Outreach to help those with leprosy. She enjoys quilting, reading, and playing the piano. Her favorite hobby is spending time with her family. Ann taught school for eight years. She graduated from BYU in Elementary Education. Ann was raised in Orem, Utah; she and Rich are the parents of four children.
