Laura Ivette Féliz Taveras obtained a law degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 1999) and a master’s degree in business law in 2002. She has engaged in postgraduate studies in the fiduciary area of Mexico, Colombia, and Panama. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial and corporate law and estate planning both for individuals and family businesses. She is a partner of the Dominican firm DR&R Abogados y Consultores Fiscales, as well as a founding member and secretary of the board of directors of the nonprofit organization Accion Cristiana Inc., which is dedicated to defending Christian values in Dominican society against corruption and moral decomposition in all its forms, with special emphasis on the right to life, family, and liberty.
