Jennifer G. Woods

Jennifer G. Woods joined the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in 2015 as an associate general counsel where she focused on the areas of trademark, copyright, and data privacy. In 2021 she joined the Department of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty as an associate director and Director of Government Relations for the Seventh-day Adventist headquarters. Before joining the General Conference, Woods worked in Washington, DC, at the United States Department of Veterans’ Affairs Office of General Counsel where her focus was legal issues concerning health operations and health administration. Woods received her BS in biology from Oakwood College in 2002, her JD from Harvard University in 2005, and her master of public health from Johns Hopkins University in 2007. She is a member of the Illinois and California bars.
