Aaron Stinson was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama, the fifth of seven children. He served a Spanish-speaking mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Los Angeles, California. After returning from his mission, Aaron received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in national security studies from Utah Valley University.  

Aaron’s passion for liberty began when he was young. When he learned of the work of the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, he knew he wanted to be involved. This summer, he worked as one of the Center’s fellows for the Area Legal Counsel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico City, Mexico. In 2015, Aaron joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve and hopes to continue his military service after law school as a Judge Advocate.  In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies, hunting, and snowboarding.
