Rachel Sackett is a second-year student at BYU Law School with an interest in practicing corporate transactional law. She received her bachelor’s degree in history and political studies from Queen’s University and graduated on the Dean’s Honour List. Prior to law school, Rachel worked on the business development team at Covington & Burling in Washington, DC, where she prepared proposals and pitches for the firm’s corporate clients.
Rachel was born and raised on Vancouver Island on the Canadian west coast where she developed a love of hiking, kayaking, and spending as much time as possible outdoors. She also loves to travel and has visited nearly thirty countries. She is excited to assist with translation for the International Law and Religion Symposium this fall.
