Derek serves as Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Younique, LLC. Previously he served as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at NetSteps, LLC. Derek has many years of experience in working with direct sales companies. He was recognized by Utah Valley Business Quarterly Magazine twice as No. 1 and No. 8 overall for the area’s fastest growing companies. Derek studied Computer Science at Brigham Young University.

Shelaine is President and Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Younique Foundation, which was the driving purpose for the creation of Younique. The foundation is an organization to help survivors of childhood sexual abuse find healing and hope. She and her husband, Derek, are the parents of five children.
