Brent & Bonnie Jean Beesley

Brent was Chairman and CEO for 35 years of Heritage Bank, St. George, Utah. Early in his career, he practiced with the Salt Lake City law firm of Ray, Quinney and Nebeker and taught business and real estate law at the University of Utah. During the Reagan Administration, Brent served as the Director of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, Washington, D.C. He was also the President and CEO of the Farm Credit Corporation of America, Denver, Colorado. He received is JD and MBA from Harvard University, and his BA in Economics from BYU.

Bonnie Jean is President and Chair of the Beesley Family Foundation. She also serves on the Zions Bank Advisory and Envision Utah Boards. She has served on the board of the Utah Symphony and Opera and other civic organizations. Bonnie Jean served on the Salt Lake Community College Board of Trustees and Utah Board of Regents and represented Utah on the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), serving as chair on all three boards. SLCC awarded her an Honorary Doctorate degree. Bonnie Jean graduated from the University of Utah, and worked as a computer programmer/systems analyst.
